Baseball Expert to Visit Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): April 29, 1998 – Ray Brown, baseball
development officer for Baseball Oceania will be visiting Chuuk,
Pohnpei and Kosrae in May according to Jim Tobin, Secretary General
for the FSM National Olympic Committee. Brown will be visiting
Chuuk from May 2-10, Pohnpei from May 11-18 and Kosrae from May
18-23^rd.

The purpose of his trip is to develop junior baseball, with
coaching workshops for players and coaches, train umpires and
work with the men baseball teams that will be participating in
the upcoming Micronesian Games. The baseball course is funded
from Olympic Solidarity and the International Baseball Association.
