Celebrating hundred years of Christianity in the island of Pohnpei

Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Service): November 25, 2005 – The streets of Kolonia in Pohnpei are flooded not with water but Christians who are proudly celebrating the one hundred years anniversary of Christian Endeavor in Pohnpei. This celebration includes a parade starting from the Spanish Walls and up the street and around the town to the church where the morning and afternoon services will be held.

Rev. Tesiwo M. Liwy General Secretary/Conference Minister, in a letter to the President on November 10,2005 requested the President to allow members of the Protestant Church to participate in the event. The President routed the request to the departments and offices for appropriate action.
