FSM Established Diplomatic Relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On November 7, 2023, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia established diplomatic relations to enhance relations and expand cooperation between the two countries in support of security and peace issues worldwide. The protocol was signed by His Excellency, Ambassador Jeem S. Lippwe, the Federated States of Micronesia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and His Excellency Ambassador Abdulaziz Alwasis, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, in accordance with the provisions of the Convention on Diplomatic Relations and Immunities signed in Vienna on April 18, 1961.
