Gaius Nedlic Nominated as Kosrae IDF Member

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): May 6, 1998 – President Jacob
Nena nominated Gaius F. Nedlic as Kosrae State representative
to serve on the Investment Development Fund (IDF) Board pursuant
to an agreement between the US and the FSM governments, according
to an April 29th letter to Congress Speaker Jack Fritz.

FSM President appoints five of the eight members with the
advice and consent of Congress. The other three are appointed
by the US President.

In recommending Nedlic, Governor Moses Mackwelung recommended
him being a member of his Cabinet as Director of the Department
of Administration. Adding he is confident Nedlic will adequately
represent Kosrae on the Board.
