Job Announcement for FSM Labor Force Survey, Household Income and Expenditures Survey Pretest Enumerators
PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): September, 1997
– The FSM Secretary of the Department of Resources and Development is
preparing to conduct two FSM-wide surveys on labor force in the FSM
and on household income and expenditures and a pretest is underway.
To conduct these surveys, the FSM Office of Administrative
Services have been requested in a September 2, 1997, memorandum to
help recruit 40 Enumerators: 18 for Chuuk; 14 for Pohnpei; five for
Yap and three for Kosrae. The closing date for filing applications
is September 12, 1997.
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, and must be
able to speak, understand and write English. Experience in census or
survey work is preferred.
Enumerators must attend training; follow instructions provided by
supervisors; identify selected household for the survey and conduct
interview and complete questionaires, diaries, and forms. Report
daily progress on work and consult with supervisor on problems.
Complete all assignments and turn in to Supervisors.
