President Falcam’s Son Laid to Rest

POHNPEI, Palikir (FSM Information Service): November 10, 2000 – President Falcam laid to rest, the body of his late son, 24-year-old, Carlos Kapono Okalani Vaughan Falcam.

Beside the multitude of family and friends, over 70 officials and employees of National and State Governments, COM Personnel, and various members of the Private Sector attended the funeral services in U municipality to pay their respects.

Kapono is survived by the President and First Lady, along with brothers Lt. Colonel Falcam Jr., Andrew and Achilles; and sisters, Tamara, Iva, and Karmither (Pwoli).

A memorial service will be held at the St. Joseph Parish in Awak, U municipality, on Wednesday, November 15th, at 5:30 pm. The service will be open to the general public.
