President Mori for His State Visit to Chuuk

Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Service): June 6, 2008 – President Manny Mori is visiting Chuuk state from June 9 to June 16, 2008 to discuss issues of great importance to our nation and the Chuuk state in particular with the Chuuk State Leadership.

In addition to the on-going reform for Chuuk’s recovery, President Manny Mori would like to discuss with Chuuk State’s leaders other issues including: energy, climate change, education and health, transportation, communication and infrastructure.

During this visit President Mori will visit schools dispensaries and project sites in Southern Namoneas and Faichuuk.

Due to prior commitments, President Mori would not be able to visit the Mortlock and the Northwest islands this time, but he intends to do so later in the year.
