The Government of the Federated States of Micronesia and the Government of the R(!public of Turkey,
Desirous of developing and strengthening relations of friendship and mutual cooperation between the two States in accordance with the purposes and principles enunciated in the Charter of the United Nations, and
Pursuant to the norms of international law governing the diplomatic relations among States,
Have agreed to establish diplomatic relations between the two States.
This Joint Communique shall enter into force as from the date of last notification by either Party to the other of the completion of domestic legal requirements necessary for giving effect to it.
