 SBOC Launches Its Official WebsitePalikir, Pohnpei (FSM Information Services): August 18, 2010 – In June 2010, the FSM Office of Statistics, Budget & Economic Management, Overseas Development Assistance and Compact Management (SBOC) launched its official website. The website can be accessed at www.sboc.fm. Development on content is ongoing; however, some historical statistics publications and other data have already been made available on the site. The launch of the website is part of SBOC’s effort to improve availability and access to the office’s key activities and work programs. It is also to inform the public about critical issues and encourage transparency and accountability. Once fully updated, the website will contain information and reports on statistical publications (census and surveys), social and economic development, information on budget, data on overseas development assistance and reports and data relating to the implementation of the Amended Compact.
