 Workshop on Micronesian Small Business to Be Held in PohnpeiPALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): February 17, 1997 – Acting President on January 14 informed all Governors of the states that there will be a workshop on Micronesian Small Business to be held in Pohnpei State from March 3-7, 1997. The workshop will be sponsored by the Trade and Investment Division of the Forum Secretariat, Fiji, focusing on marketing and the tourism sector. The selection of workshop participants from the FSM States is to be done by the respective State Micronesia Entrepreneur Development Centers (MEDCs) personnel. Travel and hotel accommodations will be provided by the Forum Secretariat for the participants from Yap, Kosrae, and Chuuk. The Department of Resources and Development would be coordinating with the MEDC personnel through each state counterpart agency.
