 Yap Visitors Bureau Announces Plans for Yap’s First Annual Homecoming FestivalColonia, Yap (Yap Visitors Bureau/FSM Information Services): March 4, 2011 – Yap Visitors Bureau is planning Yap’s First Annual Homecoming Festival. This will be a major homecoming event held on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Former residents and past visitors will be invited back to Yap to reconnect with family and friends, experience the Yapese spirit, and partake in local entertainment. There will be a variety of activities including: sporting events, live music, Yapese dancing, local food and drinks, local canoes, family fun and games. There will also be a display of archival photographs of Yap throughout the years. Lodging and travel information are available through Yap Visitors Bureau at www.visityap.com.
