The President’s National Advisory Committee (PNACC) on Children Seeks Input from the General PublicPALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): August 24, 2001 – The President’s National Advisory Committee on Children wishes to inform the general public for comment on the second draft progress report on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). This report includes information on the progress of children since the FSM Government became a party to the CRC in 1993. While the report is in draft form, the PNACC invites the general public to comment on the content of the report by August 24, 2001. The final version will be submitted to the Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva. For more information and a copy of the draft report, please contact the PNACC Chairman, Mr. Weldis Welley at 320-2609.
