Lawrence Designated Acting Finance Secretary

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): October 3, 1997
– FSM President Jacob Nena, on September 30, 1997, designated the
Administrator for the Division of Accounting, Department of Finance,
as Acting Secretary, beginning on October 1^st, until the return of
Secretary Ehsa on or about October 10, 1997.

Secretary Ehsa is attending a meeting in Honolulu of State Finance
Directors and Money Managers who are managing the FSM National and
State Government portfolios.
