 Nena Requests Statistical Data from State Governors for the 1996 ADB Annual ReportPALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): February 12, 1997 – Acting President Jacob Nena requested the State Governors in a January 8, 1997 letter, to furnish certain specific statistical data to be compiled by the FSM Office of Planning and Statistics and be forwarded to the Bank by February 4, 1997 for inclusion in the Bank’s Annual Report for 1996. As a member of the Asian Development Bank, the FSM Government is expected to furnish such information as requested by the Bank which are needed for accomplishing its mandate. Cooperation of the four FSM constituent states will enable the National Government to meet its membership obligations. Nena concluded by saying that additional clarification or information can be obtained by contacting the office of the Director of National Planning at telephone numbers 320-2820 or 2821.
