 The new 15th FSM Congress called to convene on May 11Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services): May 4, 2007 – Temporary Speaker Isaac V. Figir has called for the newly elected members of the 15th Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia to convene in Palikir at 10 a.m. on May 11, 2007. The call was transmitted to the President’s office on May 3, inviting the Executive and Judiciary Branches of the National Government, the State Government and members of the general public to the attend the Opening Day proceedings. The National Government is coordinating efforts with the broadcast stations throughout the nation and the FSM Telecommunications Corporation to ensure that those unable to attend the opening session would be able to listen to a live-broadcast of the May 11th Opening Day’s proceedings.
