FSM Receives $1,000,000 from ChinaPalikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services): March 11, 2008 – On March 11, 2008 President Manny Mori received a memo from FSM Secretary of Finance and Administration Mr. Finley S. Perman, , acknowledging the acceptance of $1,000,000 that has been donated by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the FSM Government. This donation has been transferred and accredited to the FSM National Government savings account with the Bank of FSM. In his memo, Secretary Perman affirms President Mori that once there is formal approval of the Grant by Congress, Finance will further deposit the grant money to the intended FSM Trust Fund account.
