DPIG Account Extended to December This Year

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): November 7,
1997 – FSM President Jacob Nena, on October 27, 1997, informed
his Director of Budget that the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) has approved and authorized to extend the Disaster
Preparedness Improvement Grant (DPIG) account number NX7100/3877
until December 1997.

Nena directed the Director of Budget to prepare necessary
documents to enable the FSM Disaster Office to use the funds for its
programs.
