Farewell to Sergeant Raymond J. HicksPalikir, Pohnpei (FSM Information Services): May 5, 2010 – Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services) – On April 24, 2010, Sergeant Raymond J. Hicks, a soldier in the United States Armed Forces, died in Sierra Vista, Arizona. At press time, the cause of death has yet to be officially conveyed to the Government of the Federated States of Micronesia. The remains of the late Sergeant Raymond J. Hicks will be escorted to Pohnpei State by Honor Guard, and will arrive on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 2:20pm on Continental flight 957. A funeral service will be held Church of Latter Day Saints in Panasang at 3:30pm, and an interment (burial) is on Wednesday, May 12 at 2:00pm at the family residence in Sekere Sokehs, where Sergeant Raymond J. Hicks will be laid to eternal rest.
