FSM Close-Up Schedule for May 25-29th

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): May 19, 1998 –
The 4th Annual FSM Close-Up Program will be held from
May 25 to 29th in Pohnpei.

Close-up program is a civic education program the purpose
of which is to promote unity among the FSM citizens residing
in different states to become good citizenry.

Participants during the duration of their stay will have an
opportunity to get acquainted and develop an understanding of
one another and also appreciate the differences among themselves.

At the FSM Capital, they will tour the Executive Branch offices
and facilities and get to know the people who are running various
offices

Some 60 students and teachers from all four FSM States High
Schools have been selected for this year’s program.

the FSM Division of Education in the Department of Health, Education
and Social Affairs.

President Jacob Nena urged all FSM Department, office and
agency heads to welcome and accommodate the visiting students,
and to make their visit a rewarding and memorable one.
