Mangefel and Waguk President’s Disaster Reps

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): September 16,
1997 – President Jacob Nena, on September 10, 1997, designated
his staffs John Mangefel and Josaiah Waguk as his authorized
representatives in the handling of all FEMA matters for the FSM
National Government.

Nena also designated the office’s secretary Oleen Poll to be
responsible for all Disaster’s Office administrative work until
further arrangements are made.

Mangefel and Waguk are replacing Special Assistant for Disaster
and Special Programs Chutomu Nimwes whose resignation will take
effect on September 19, 1997, according to Waguk, Special Assistant
to President.
