On June 29, 2026 Ms. Universe Y. Lawrence delivered a statement that expresses gratitude to Mongolia for chairing Asia Pacific Group (APG) for the month of June with Micronesia assuming the role of chairmanship for the month of July 2026.

Good afternoon, Chair and Excellencies-

Micronesia would like to thank you Chair for the astounding work your Mission has done to keep us informed through the month of June. The Month of June was indeed a very busy month filled with many elections and we congratulate those who have entered as candidates to the respective UN bodies. Micronesia expresses our gratitude to all those who had led our APG family thus far, and now will join the other Chairs to continue to provide the same level of support and leadership for our APG Family for this year. As the upcoming Chair for July, we continue to rely on your continued support and patience. In our mother tongue language to say thank you, we say Kalangan Lap, Kinisou Chapur, Kammagar and Kulo.
