Mori sworn in for 13th Congress

Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services): November 5, 2004 – Manny (Manny) Mori was sworn-in today as the four year representative for the State of Chuuk to the Thirteenth Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia.

Results of Chuuk State’s special election on October 26th, credited Mori with the majority of votes:

  1. Manuel (Manny) Mori – 8,118

  2. Winiplat A. Bisalen – 6,171

  3. Mark (Macky) Mailo – 5,307

  4. John E. Sound – 2,640

A short ceremony in Speaker Peter M. Christian’s office inducted Mori to the seat vacated by the resignation of former Senator Jack Fritz.
