Nena Member of Close-up Foundation Board of Advisors

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): June 3, 1997 –
FSM President Jacob Nena accepted an invitation extended in a May 12,
1997, letter from President of the Close-up Foundation, Stephen A.
Janger, to sit on the Close-up Foundation’s Board of Advisors.
President Nena’s response letter was dated May 17, 1997.

As a Board Member, Nena commits to the pursuit of quality
educational opportunities that the Foundation has extended to many
FSM youths.

We are committed to continue and strengthen the local Close-up
activities in the FSM. Nena stated, adding, that he is looking
forward to working with other Board Members.
