President Mori call for First Special Session of 15th CongressPalikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services): July 6, 2007 – The First Special Session of the 15th Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia has been called to convene on July 10, 2007. In accordance with the FSM Constitution Article IX – section 16, President Manny Mori has called for the FSM Congress to address those issues of national concern during a proposed 10-day Special Session. Urgent among the issues transmitted by the President are the following:
President Mori transmittal said he looks forward to Congress’s favorable consideration of the transmitted items. He further invited Congress to “consult with the various departments for further information” on any of the submitted bills.
