President to Deliver his State of the Nation AddressPalikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Services): May 8, 2008 – The President of the Nation, His Excellency Emanuel Mori, in his letter of April 28, 2008 to Speaker Isaac V. Figir accepted the invitation from Congress to deliver his State of the Federation address pursuant to Congressional Resolution No. 15-109. It is required by law that the President of the Nation presents the State of the Federation address once a year. Consequently, His Excellency’s State of the Federation Message is slated to be delivered during the opening session of the Fourth Regular Session of Congress scheduled for May 12, 2008. The Message is set to be aired via Telecom through the radio stations in the FSM including Pohnpei Radio Broadcasting Service (V6AH) and the Christian Radio Station on Pohnpei (V6AF).
