The Israeli ophthalmologists will spend the next two weeks on Pohnpei treating such eye diseases as cataracts and diabetic retinopathy. The doctors come from Tel Aviv University and the Goldschleger Eye Institute. The clinics are run in coordination with the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s Center for International Cooperation and the Israeli Embassy in Australia.
